Let's Drink Until We Can't Feel Feelings Anymore!

Some of you seem to be feeling....... a lot of feelings right now. I really don't know what to say to any of you. I'm not really one to give advice, if only because I haven't experienced too much in my 22 years of life. That doesn't mean that I haven't had my own obstacles to overcome. Just this year or so that I've known you all, I'm sure you've noticed SOMETHING. But I still don't really know what any of you are truely going through, just as none of you know what I'm going through. Believe me, I'm going through some shit.

Even when I was younger, I went through a whole lot.... like this one time..... gosh, I haven't thought about this in a while! I was in fifth grade. I really liked this boy. I mean, I really, really liked him. He liked me a lot, too. We were both very athletic (yes, once upon a time). During recess, we would always go for a jog in the field, just us. We would play on the monkey bars, and have lots of fun. You know, we were kids.

Then one day, I was on the monkey bars waiting for him, and when I saw him I gave him this huge cheesy grin. He didn't say, "Hi." The only thing he asked was, "Are you Mexican?" I remember just being so caught off-guard by that question. I asked, "What?" and he asked again if I was Mexican. When he found out that my parents were both from Mexico, he simply said, "Oh, I can't talk to you anymore," and walked away. I was so heartbroken. My stomach did a somersault. I tried my hardest not to cry, and to pretend that I didn't care at all. I went on to play on the monkey bars for the rest of recess. That hurt so much. I can't even remember the kid's name. I won't forget him, though; his blonde hair and blue-green eyes.

So that is one of my many little stories. Maybe (or surely) that experienced fucked me up, and who knows how all the other things I've been through have affected me, but that's just life, right? You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have the facts of life.... hahahahaha. Okay, that made me laugh and blush, but I'll leave it in anyway. As Shirley Manson once said, "...embrace the total geek in yourself and just enjoy it. Life is too short to be cool."

Anyway, you chicks and dudes are all great people. You really are. I'm talking to each and every one of you reading this. I know you, and I like you. It sucks that you guys feel down, one way or another. I feel down, too. Everyone does, though. You just have to push through it. You'll see. It'll work out (if it hasn't already).

Life can sometimes get long and hard, but that doesn't mean you should just give in, bend over, and let it fuck you in the ass.

Very occasionally, if you really pay attention, life doesn't suck.

Here, watch this. It might make you feel better.

Wow that's so crazy that he would have said that to you. I'm sorry that that had to happen to you so young.

I guess that explains why you didn't call me back today.

Feel better.

OMG, you're mexican!? :p That guy was an ass, I would have punched him.

You sounded so wise almost like the Dali Llama or something. Also, you know I can never thank you enough for putting up with my fucked up little mood swings... or as you say panic attacks. Hopefully one day you will let me return the favor :)
