Lrg. Straight (That's What She Said.)

I like having a window here by my desk. I can look out and see the parking lot full of cars, double-parked because there isn’t more room. I love that I could see the trees from my window, and the UPS truck driving by. I love that I can hear the ice cream truck coming.

I learned how to play Yahtzee (and I learned how to spell it). It’s quite a fun game. J I played it again on my own, just to see what my score would be, and now I’m not sure that I want to play it anymore because I would never beat that score.

I also accidentally watched an episode of Two and a Half Men. Woops.

AND! I played Mario Kart on N64, and TOTALLY ROCKED ON RAINBOW ROAD!! I took the short cut successfully in the beginning of the course, and on the last lap, as well. J And! I did it on 150CC! AND! I did it again on EXTRA (that’s when the course is flipped – a mirrored version of itself). I totally rock.

Quite a productive Memorial Day.

The Gardener

It's windy today. The air is cool and the sun is brilliant. It can be categorized as a perfect day.

I like not having a car. I'm glad I got rid it. Gas prices are too outrageous and I will have no part of it. I'm fine without one, and I'm saving money.

I love the trees outside my office window. The branches are heavy and look... hypnotizing when they sway from side to side.

I'm trying to finish up more of my story, but I can't figure out what I want one of the characters' names to be. I don't want anything O.C.-ish. I want something real, but not boring. I guess it doesn't really matter; it's just a name. Still,
I want this to be a somewhat-significant character, so I suppose the name should be memorable. That's all I need and I'm good for another chapter. I hope I can develop the story, and the characters, more. I get my moments of creativity, but I don't know where to take them. I have to know what the ending is so that I know how to get there.

I was looking at some of my old art work. I started a portrait of Amanda Palmer a few months ago and never finished it. I didn't get the eyes quite right, so I stopped drawing that night and never finished it. It's almost done, too. I think that it only needs about an hour or two of my time.

.... Life is wonderful.
